Greg Fessler found inspiration in fellow Master Builder Dale Wilson, who travels the Southwest and its many ghost towns. Artist Dave Newman, who Fessler has worked with for years, is a Southwest native whose work is stimulated by what he sees around the Southwest, creating an organic segue to the partnership. Innovative specs include Josefina Campos hand-wound pickups driving Merle Haggard signature Telecaster electronics. Newman's artwork adorns pre-distressed ash, lending the guitar an authentic finish. This model is ideal for guitar enthusiasts and collectors with great respect and affinity for Southwestern art.
