1990 Saw the first MIM guitars ship out. But the first year was problematic with shortage of parts. Therefore, specs can vary the first 1-2 years. Different hardware (some US stock parts), Block Saddles, Sometimes 22 Frets necks and different decals etc.
February 1994: The Factory burns down and all production is temporary moved to USA. Fender builds a factory much larger within 100 days and resumes production in Ensenada at the end of 1994.
