INFO:
1974 to 1979 was the year Fender went into a heavy decline. The model was very out of fashion at the time and Pre-CBS could be bought for $200-300. Trough these years, there were some changes, and the plant also suffered from lack of parts, heavy ash stockpile resulting in many 4kg + guitars and things were a little chaotic for the last decade of the 70s.
Small changes from 74 to 79:
1975: Black plastic parts like pickguards and knobs are more used. Some where mixed with black guard and white knobs and vice versa..
1976: Serial numbers are moved to decal at headstock instead of neck plate.
1979: Last year of large CBS Headstock.
