About Channel Bound:

Channel bound fretboard can only be done by CNC machining. Its basically frets slots that routed out in channles, instead of straight cuts accross the entire fretboard, leaving the a thin outer edges intact so you do not have fret ends. Similar to how Gibsons are fretted with nibbed tangs. Only difference is that Gibson has bound ends but channel bound leaves natural wood instead.
