100 was made of these in total and are based on the American Standard model. But many was returned to Fender for finish-issues or dents in the body. Customers were never issued a new one because the mold was discarded. So all returns was refunded under warranty. 

Because of this, there is less than 100 in circulation of these today.

This guitar is made from aluminum, utilising a special manufacturing

and anodizing process. What might appear to be minor surface flaws

are a normal part of this special hard anodising process
