INFO:

Released as a budget/student version with no binding, 2 Pots, 1 pickup and slab body. The Junior was a great success for Gibson. In later years, they were found to be a perfect tool for Punk music in the 80´s. Simple guitar for simple music..

If required, you could order this at a 3/4 scale. But these are very rare today, and not very collectible actually.

Color can vary between brown sunburst to bright Yellow Sunburst.

CHANGES:

1956:

-Thread inserts increased for bridge. Pickup was moved away from bridge slightly to increase strength, as the post had a tendency to break or lean.

- Bumbebee Capcitors replaces the Grey Tigers

Early/mid-'55: Speed Knobs was changed out for Bell-knobs
