- Neck shape again reduced over the course of the 1st quarter of this year production run. Neck was considerably slimmed down gradually and was much flatter C-shape around Summer 1960

- Mid 60's:: Silver Cap Reflector Bell Knobs replaces the See-Trough Bell Knobs

- Late 60's: Tuner Keystones have double ring instead of Single

The Les Paul Standard as it was known as was ended in 1961 and the SG model replace it.
